Our services during lockdown
As our groups will most likely remain closed until later on in the year, here are some of the ways that we are serving older people in Lewisham:
Regular phone calls and some socially distanced home visits
Activity packs and supplies
Arranging food deliveries and other services
Helping with access to information or advice
Connecting people with activities and projects being coordinated in the borough
We are pleased to say that we are continuing to support our members as lockdown eases, the community gets vaccinated, and we look forward to meeting again in person. If you or a loved one would like to be contacted about any of our services, please get in touch!
If you would like to support our work with a financial donation of any size, we would be very grateful!
Winnie Carlson features on the Lewisham Local website
Our very own Assistant Programme Manager, Winnie Carlson, is featured on the Lewisham Local website, discussing Ageing Well's work during the pandemic and celebrating women's achievements.
The campaign aims to view the global movement from a local landscape and individual experiences and stories.
"We want to celebrate the diverse range of voices from women who are at the forefront of Lewisham, both through their business and community involvement."
